City Council Proposed Goals Report
The Junction City Council met in a goal setting session on June 10, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding at 3:19 PM, to identify possible city goals for a five-year period running through June 30, 2031. The meeting was held in the Community Center. Councilor Washburne was not able to attend due to illness but reviewed the materials and provided his priorities which are included in this report. In addition, the Council discussed potential elements that could be included in a vision statement about the future of Junction City.

The City of Junction City is conducting a team survey in preparation for a future water line project. You may notice temporary markings in your yard. These markings are only part of the survey for potential future work. Please note that no construction is currently underway.
