The Public Works Committee meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 680 Greenwood Street, Junction City. Committee appointments are made by the Mayor.

Committee Purpose Statement
The Public Works Committee is comprised of three Council members who have the primary responsibility to provide policy recommendations to the City Administrator and the City Council concerning the City's programs, fees, equipment and facilities in the areas of: municipal water, municipal sewer and municipal streets, municipal sanitation, and municipal recycling.
