MUNICIPAL JAIL

The Junction City Police Department has a fully certified Municipal Jail designated as a “Local Correctional Facility” as defined in ORS 169.005(5) and ORS 169.077. This is comprised of two 8' x 12' cells, each with two beds. Our jail houses inmates convicted of misdemeanor crimes committed within the city limits, and can hold them in custody for up to one year.
