As the Clerk of the City Council, the City Recorder records all City Council proceedings, manages all public records, and serves as the City Elections Officer.

The Recorder serves as the Executive Secretary to the Mayor, Councilors, and City Administrator and is charged with coordination of meetings, agendas, and public notices, maintenance of the City Code, preparation and management of minutes, ordinances and resolutions, and processing of all official documents of the Junction City Council. In addition, the Recorder responds to citizen comments and processes public records requests, community reader board applications, park rentals, special events, and temporary business licenses.
 
 
Public Meetings Law Grievances

OAR 199-050-0070 requires the City to publish contact information for submitting a grievance alleging violation of the Oregon Public Meetings Law. Written grievances may be submitted to City Recorder Kitty Vodrup via email at kvodrup@ci.junction-city.or.us, by mail to PO Box 250, Junction City, OR 97448, or in person at City Hall 185 W. 8th Avenue, Junction City between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
